Job Description
|
General Description:
The TIBCO Administrator will be responsible for administering the applications hosted in the datacenter. Responsibilities will include managing application, providing 24x7 support and conduct other application maintenance tasks.
Specific Job Duties:
• Lead and implement customer projects
• Administer and support customer n-tier applications
• Administer TIBCO portal, Business connect, Business works and EMS platform
• Release maintenance and management
• 24x7 application availability support and ticket handling
• Disaster Recovery support
• Capacity planning
• Performance tuning
Education & Experience:
• Should have seven plus years of Application/DB administration experience with at least four years of working experience in TIBCO B2B and B2C solutions
• BS Information Systems
• Masters Degree in an engineering discipline is a definite plus
Skills:
• Excellent team player with superb communication skills
• An expert in configuring TIBCO B2C and B2B solutions
• Excellent knowledge in administering TIBCO portal, Business connect, Business works, ATI and EMS platform
• Strong Unix and Windows platform experience
• Experience with web servers Sun One/Apache etc
• Basic knowledge of networking
• TIBCO certification is a definite plus
• Some level of database knowledge is a plus

• Meeting service level deliverables in a timely manner
• Ability to provide extremely strong leadership and clear direction
Scope of the Job:
The TIBCO Administrator reports to the Database & Application group manager. He/she interacts with many of the engineering, PMO and operations members and employees of Siemens Business Services Corporation. This person will also interact with partners, vendors and customers as required.
